Hemant Pandit

Hemant Pandit took up the Chair in Elective Orthopaedics (Head of Research) in Leeds in October 2016.

He also holds the post of Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery in Oxford.

Hemant specialises in hip and knee surgery, and has a research focus on patient-based studies, identifying aetiology and improving treatment outcomes for hip/knee OA.

In addition, Hemant’s current research interests include biomechanics, translational research, education and international health with particular reference to musculoskeletal disorders.
