Andrea Fontana is the Head of Orthopaedics at the Casa di Cura Santa Ria in Milan.
Andrea studied medicine in his home city, graduating from the University of Palermo in 1986. He then studied orthopaedics at the University of Milan, where he qualified in 1992.
After gaining a Clinical Research Fellowship at the Hip and Knee Unit of BUPA’s Lea Hospital in Cambridge, Andrea returned to Italy to lead the Orthopaedic Department at the Policlinico di Monza in Milan.
Andrea is a member of several professional organisations including ICRS, ESSKA, EHS, SIA and SIOT.
