
Mike Cronin qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 2000.
His orthopaedic training was undertaken in London and South Wales, during which time he built a strong interest in hip surgery. This has been complemented with 12 months Fellowship training in young adult hip surgery based at Guys Hospital in London. He has also travelled extensively visiting surgeons with similar interests to further his skills.
His interest in hip surgery (or often in non-surgical treatment if appropriate) ranges from hip arthroscopy and open bony surgery (osteotomies) to total hip replacement and revision total hip replacement. His NHS post is in one of the largest specialist young adult hip units in the UK (UHCW).
